Ending Explained

As Wind Chill reaches its chilling conclusion, the unnamed female student finds herself alone after her companion succumbs to his injuries, his fate entwined with the haunted road’s tragic history. Throughout the night, she is tormented by the restless spirits of those who perished in past winters, particularly the vengeful ghost of a corrupt state trooper responsible for many of the deaths. In a desperate bid for survival, she confronts the supernatural forces, piecing together the truth behind the road’s curse and the trooper’s malevolence. As dawn breaks, the cycle of violence is finally disrupted—her determination and resilience allow her to escape the spectral trap that claimed so many before her.
