Main Plot

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" follows the aftermath of Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark's victory in the 74th Hunger Games. As they embark on a Victor's Tour, unrest begins to brew in the districts, leading to a rebellion against the Capitol. In order to quell the uprising, the Capitol announces a special edition of the Hunger Games, known as the Quarter Quell, where previous victors are forced to compete. Katniss and Peeta find themselves back in the arena, fighting for their lives once again, while also facing new alliances, betrayals, and the realization that the rebellion is much bigger than they ever imagined.
